The ONLY EXACT REPRODUCTION in the World
In 1990, ASC&P International decided to make the AAR Cuda Hood since there was no reproduction worth buying. Below are pictures of our product.

Notice there is no tracking from the frame on the hood top. The original had lumps where all the contact points are.

Notice how smooth the "S" curve is on the sides of the hood? While the edges do not match perfectly to the fenders, it is far better fitting than the original. The edge is also longer than the original by 1/4 inch. Don't like it? Grind away!

The frame is glued all the way around the border of the air box. The original from Creative Industries was not completely glued around the edge.

The rear louvers are extended much further than the original. If looks much cleaner. If you don't like it, grind them back to original.

The rear edge is actually made in the mold. The factory version was simply ground down making it very uneven.
AAR Cuda Hood, Fender Bumper
This "half-moon" is just like the factory and typically not found in any of the "reproductions", except ours. It hits the stops mounted on the inside of the fender in two places on each fender to prevent "Hood Chatter"

The frame is exactly like the original but is glued at all contact points, instead of intermittently. There are steel supports almost 36 inches long in the left and right frame rails so the hood will not bow from hinge pressure

This hood is hand laid fiberglass and made with the exact same technique as the original ones were made with in 1970!
Creative Industries riveted very lightweight braces in the hinge area of the AAR Hood. The purpose of the brace was to hold metal nuts for attachment to the hinge and to strengthen the mounting area. It was a very light sheet steel. ASC offers the install of the rivets for the authentic look.
